SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE FACADE PROTECTION HYDROACTIVE KEIM AquaROYAL system uses capillary forces of mineral building materials to control the moisture balance of the system structure via controlled water absorption and to prevent the formation of drops of dew on the surface of the facade. Moisture is absorbed directly by the hydrophilic silicate coating, leaving the surface virtually drip-free. DIFFUSIBLE Moisture is temporarily stored in the paint and finishing render. The capillary-active moisture transport inside the finishing coat and the high permeability of the paint ensure unrivalled fast re-drying. THICK LAYERS The thick-layer system structure ensures an increased heat storage capacity, which delays the point at the dew point temperature is reached.
